Disability Shabbat - Justice, Dignity, and Lived Experience
Saturday, February 14, 2026 • 27 Shevat 5786
9:30 AM - 1:00 PMGLTAs we read Parashat Mishpatim—a Torah portion grounded in laws meant to protect the vulnerable and shape a just society—we are honored to welcome Kelley Pasmanick.
Kelley is a disabled woman who will share reflections drawn from her own lived experience, inviting us to consider what justice, responsibility, and human dignity look like not only as ideals, but as daily realities.
Kelley’s words will challenge and enrich our understanding of inclusion, accessibility, and communal responsibility. Her presence among us is a powerful reminder that Torah comes alive when we listen to voices too often unheard—and when we allow our sacred texts to push us toward greater compassion and action.
